Hello everyone! Welcome to another week! I hope you guys have been doing well in staying on task and working towards accomplishing your goals!
This week I've fallen a little bit behind work, but ended up catching up with some of the things that I have been looking to do. Staying organized is one of those things that sometimes you forget about, but it helps me immensely in trying to get all the things that I'm trying to accomplish.
Something besides to-do lists that usually helps me get things done however are routines. Sticking and staying true to a routine usually is one of the biggest things that helps me accomplish the many things that I want to do. Something about doing certain things during the week at the same time on the same day can get me to do something that I necessarily don't want to do. I am a master procrastinator and usually, it is just that first little step that is the toughest for me to get something done.
Personally, when I start to get on a routine, I see immediate benefits in getting things done and accomplished. I started being able to get things done efficiently and effectively instead of spending a lot of time getting ready to push forward. Usually from having the routine, I can free up some more time to get other things done.
The hardest part for me is that sometimes, I'll skip out on something and then once I do that, I'll justify it in my head to do that again. That is a pretty slippery slope for me and sometimes is hard to get out of it. Because of this, I try to not even get myself into that situation most times.
What about you guys? How do you keep up with some of the things that you are doing? Do you have to follow a routine or are you able to just get things done and stay organized?
